I’m a Chiropractic Neurologist.

My background includes:
• 45 years of chiropractic experience
• 30 years of functional neurology experience

   So, what does that mean?

It means I’ve studied the nitty-gritty details of the nervous system and its many complex interactions with our physical structure, our mental and emotional states, and our biochemistry.

I’ve also studied (& continue to study!) our bodies and our innate ability to heal ourselves.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to educate, guide, treat, and learn from patients with complex chronic health issues. And through my time in clinic, I’ve learned one of the most important ways we can improve our health and heal our bodies, is through the food we choose to eat.

When it comes to chronic health conditions of any type, without getting food right first, all other protocols will only work marginally or not at all. This might be summed-up best by this famous quote from Hippocrates:

      “Let food be thy medicine & medicine by thy food.”

That’s what we want to do here at Plant Based Living –
help you transform your life through the foods you eat.

With my beautiful & brilliant wife, Sonja, we want to educate you, guide you, inspire you, and help you take control of your life by shifting how you think about food, how you manage stress, how you interact with Mother Earth, and other lifestyle habits that will help you transform your life to one of optimal health, happiness, and fulfillment!



Hi! I’m Dr. Smith

Hi! I'm Sonja

My health journey began over 48 years ago – around the same time I discovered and fell in love with yoga!

Since childhood I’ve felt a deep spiritual connection with all living beings, including plants and animals, which led me to vegetarianism and eventually veganism. My desire to cultivate a deep respect and kindness towards all living beings and Mother Earth helped me to combine the philosophies of plant-based eating, yoga, and meditation.

I’ve had the opportunity to guide and support clients interested in transforming their health with taking a more conscious approach to the foods they eat to fuel their bodies and the lifestyle habits they practice.

As a Yoga, Meditation & Mandala Facilitator, and a Health Coach graduate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, I invite you to join me and my brilliant & handsome husband, Dr. Smith, on your own health journey towards optimal health, planetary respect, and spiritual connectedness.
