To a food processor add sweet potato, chickpeas, red onion, garlic cloves, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, sweet paprika and chili, lemon juice. Blitz until well combined, scraping the sides whenever necessary. It’s ok if there are some chunks still visible. Add chickpea flour and mix it in with a spoon. Place in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes. Form small patties with your hands, optionally roll in sesame seeds and fry in a hot non-stick pan.
